Clever Connect furniture lights in the Smart Home: ZigBee-enabled Clever Connect distributor Connection Box with CCT colour change function The Clever Connect Connection Box enables up to 8 Clever Connect furniture lights to be integrated into a Smart Home system. This also works with ZigBee-enabled systems from other manufacturers, such as Philips Hue or IKEA Tradfri. Hausen Paulmann provides the smik gateway as a Bridge (see accessories). The smik App is available free of charge for both iOS and Android and is compatible with Amazon Alexa. However, intelligent lighting control, such as dimming the brightness or changing the colour temperature, is also possible without a Bridge. A so-called ZigBee-based hand-held transmitter is required for this. The Gent remote control and a 2-gang wall switch from Paulmann are available separately as accessories for this purpose. Both furniture lights and LED strips from the Clever Connect series can be integrated via this distributor. For existing Clever Connect systems, only the Connection Boxer needs to be replaced. Otherwise, a separate Clever Connect transformer is required for operation, which can be purchased via the accessories.
