Warm white glow Philips Hue E14 LED candle bulb for ZigBee and Bluetooth control

For luminaires with an E14 socket that are to be equipped with a smart controllable light source and used for warm white lighting, the Hue White LED candle bulb is the right solution. It serves as a replacement bulb for Hue lights, for the expansion of existing Hue kits and for the smart upgrade of conventional E14 lights.

With the Hue dimmer switch (see accessories) or the Hue Bluetooth app on the smartphone/tablet, the lamp can be conveniently dimmed in the room - without any intermediate hardware.

The integration into an existing Hue or other smart home system based on ZigBee is done via bridge and router. In this way, the candle lamp can be linked to scenes together with smart lights or other devices, operated by voice command via Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Apple HomeKit and activated on the move via the Hue smartphone app for presence simulation.

- Smart lighting control option b: Direct on-site control via Bluetooth using the free Hue Bluetooth app; this requires a smartphone or tablet running Android 7 or iOS 11 or higher and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 4.0 or higher. A router, Wi-Fi or data connection is not required. When using more than ten lamps, the use of a bridge is recommended. A lamp can store connections with up to 15 smartphones/tablets; the individual settings are assigned individually.
