Designer Marco Alessi combines a rigid, transparent and straight-lined crystal glass with an opaque metal element in a concave cylindrical shape. The two materials are deliberately chosen to be different, yet they enter into a relationship with each other in the Fez table lamp. The stylish, tasteful design includes a colour that has been chosen so that it can be easily integrated into industrial or modern-style rooms and also makes a beautiful eye-catcher when switched off. A switch on the supply cable allows the light to be infinitely dimmable. Fez is manufactured in north-east Italy by the design lighting manufacturer Prandina, which pays particular attention to hand-blown glass. This is also the case with the Fez table lamp, which was designed by Marco Alessi. The Venetian company Prandina has been producing designer lights since 1982, which can now be found in countless hotels and public buildings around the world.
