Lights by Slamp are not only characterised by extraordinary design, but also by the use of very special materials. For the Aria pendant light, the two plastics Cristalflex® and Lentiflex® were used, which ensure that the light from the inside of the light penetrates the room in a unique way. This effect is further enhanced by the high number of transparent surfaces that the light passes through on its way out.

Visionary designer lights made in Italy - Slamp

The Italian designer company Slamp, based in Rome, was founded by Roberto Ziliani in the early 1990s. Ziliani was already active in design before he finally discovered his passion for the possibilities of light.

Highest demands on materials, workmanship and quality

Slamp attaches particular importance to the development of new materials. In addition to natural and traditional materials such as leather, copper, crystal or stainless steel, Slamp therefore works with exclusive and specially patented materials such as Cristalflex®, Opalflex® or Lentiflex®. With them, unique light effects can be achieved. Lentiflex®, for example, looks like water that changes colour depending on the angle of view. These self-developed materials and the resulting lights clearly express the strengths of Slamp. These include a high degree of innovation, creativity and originality as well as a terrific feeling for the effect of light.
