The Ceremony pendant lamp is a sumptuous hymn to femininity. Its design of many arched elements looks like individual chains and is reminiscent of a skirt and a dance, a pearl necklace or the draping of a waterfall collar on the décolleté. The light sources are distributed in the shade made of individual technopolymer elements and give the lamp a touch of drama and weightlessness and a powerful presence.

The textured surface of the materials provides an appealing light diffusion all around. Depending on the orientation, the individual elements of the shade refract the light and direct it in different directions. Even when switched off, the light and buoyant luminaire spreads a feel-good atmosphere in any room. Different, even modern furnishing styles are perfectly complemented and effectively illuminated with the pendant lamp Ceremony. The magnetic system developed by Slamp proves to be particularly practical, through which the shade can be quickly and easily removed from the suspension and reattached for cleaning.

The lighting company Slamp was founded in 1992 by Roberto Ziliani and is based in Rome. Sustainability has a high priority in the designer lighting manufacture, which is expressed in the in-house development of durable materials. The components of the lights are manufactured by cold cutting, which does not produce any CO² emissions. Since 2020, the residues from manufacturing and processing are not only recycled, but donated to companies that produce nesting boxes for bumblebees.
