Designer pendant lamp Flora - inspired by the plant world

The Flora pendant lamp comes from the pen of the designer Zanini de Zanine, who was obviously inspired by the lush vegetation of his Brazilian homeland. A multitude of individual elements with a shimmering, pewter-coloured surface form the shade of the lamp. The individual elements are arranged around the opal white diffuser and, thanks to the unique material specially developed by the manufacturer Slamp and the glossy surface on one side, create a fascinating lighting effect that is characterised by reflections and a play of light and shadow.

Manufacturer of this pendant lamp is the Italian design company Slamp. The company, based in Rome and founded in 1992 by Roberto Ziliani, produces lamps that meet the highest standards of materials, workmanship and quality.

Slamp attaches particular importance to the development of new and unique materials. In addition to natural and traditional materials, Slamp therefore works with exclusive and specially patented materials such as Copperflex®, Cristalflex®, Opalflex® or Lentiflex®. With these plastics unique light effects can be achieved. Lentiflex®, for example, has the effect of water that changes colour depending on the viewing angle. These self-developed materials and the resulting lamps clearly express Slamp's strengths. These include a high degree of innovation, creativity and originality as well as a grandiose sense for the effect of light.
