Designer piece for your desk or bedside cabinet: the LED table lamp Taj Mini
Whilst most desk lamps are jointed and particularly flexible and, therefore, usually also work mechanically, the small designer table lamp Taj Mini is the exact opposite. It is made from one piece, has a sweeping appearance and does not have a single joint, yet it fulfils its task: it provides a practical light, e.g. on the desk or by the bed. The LEDs are attached beneath the curved plastic body, at the top so that Taj Mini can imitate the shape and function of a conventional desk lamp.
The Italian company Kartell, which is based in Noviglio near Milan, is well-known for its furniture and other articles of daily use made of plastic. Notable designers such as Philippe Starck, Giotto Stoppino and Achille and Piergiacomo Castiglioni are just some of the designers who design chairs, tables or lights for Kartell.
