Egyptian Eye floor lamp made of Carrara marble - a fantastic lighting object made in Germany
When he designed this fascinating floor lamp in 1986, the designer Günther Leuchtmann created a light source which is an optical highlight even when switched off due to its timeless beauty. Egyptian Eye spans the history of ancient Egypt, when the Horus eye was known as the mystical light of the soul, up until the present day.
The Egyptian Eye designer light created by Günther Leuchtmann also emanates something of this ancient mysticism. Its oval body made of Carrara marble, which is tapered on both sides and equipped with a lens, is reminiscent of an eye. When the light is switched on, Egyptian Eye's special lens creates a fascinating play of light with wonderful patterns on the wall and the ceiling, which will charm anyone who sees them. The light of the LED bulb is emitted without glare across a broad area and the brightness can be adjusted to the desired intensity thanks to the integrated cable dimmer.
A designer product from Tecnolumen
The Wagenfeld table lamp was the first product designed by Tecnolumen in 1979. This company offers many Bauhaus design classics, such as models by Wilhelm Wagenfeld and designs by Marianne Brandt and Walter Schnepel. Art Déco and De Stijl designs also inspire the product range of this manufacturer.
