Radiantly beautiful LED pendant lamp Void by Tom Dixon
The LED pendant lamp Void offers a fascinating sight, which is a decorative lighting accessory for a modern living concept. For this unusual shade design, the creator Tom Dixon was inspired by vacuum pistons. Semi-precious metals were formed into double-walled shades, which are also characterized by their shiny hues that give the emitting light a special shimmer.
Behind the brand Tom Dixon is the eponymous British product designer Tom Dixon, who already made a name for himself in the 1980s with innovative designs for companies such as Cappellini, Habitat and Artek, before he founded his own label in 2002, whose products he now sells in 65 countries.
His works can be found in the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Centre Georges-Pompidou in Paris and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
