Flowerpot pendant lamp: Design classic by Verner Panton
Two hemispherical metal shades - large and small - are placed in the Flowerpot pendant lamp so that they direct the light perfectly - no glare and yet the best light distribution in the area under the lamp. The pleasing round shape is joined by the monochrome color scheme, both together result in an iconic lamp, which was designed by Verner Panton already in 1968, but still looks modern today - a true lighting classic.
The Danish architect and designer was one of the most influential of his guild in the 20th century. The Flowerpot pendant lamp was created at the time of the Flower Power peace movement at the end of the 1960s and is - not surprisingly - available in many different, very expressive colours.
&Tradition is the manufacturer of these lamps. The Danish company aims to include in its portfolio and produce both timeless, traditional and modern designs that will become the icons of the future.
