Designer light for your desk: Taj by Ferruccio Laviani
The model Taj by the designer Ferruccio Laviani, who has designed lights and furniture for the Italian company Kartell for more than 20 years, represents a conscious alternative design to the jointed, mechanised desk lamp. Its sculptural and yet very simple shape allows the table lamp, on the one hand, to make a statement with regard to aesthetics and, on the other hand, to optimally fulfil its role as a desk lamp. The LEDs are built into the top of the curved body, which is virtually made of one piece, allowing them to emit their light downwards onto the tabletop.
The most prominent designer pieces produced by the company Kartell include, for example, the children’s chair K 1340 and the lemon squeezer KS 1481. With regard to lights, it is the model 4006 by Achille and Piergiacomo Castiglioni from the year 1959 and the Tic Tac series which act as flagship models and are highly recognisable. Many of Kartell’s designer pieces have not only won various design awards, but can already be admired in museums in spite of their relatively young age.
The strike-through prices correspond to the manufacturer's RRP.
