Jacob Rudbeck, a Danish designer who is constantly designing beautiful products for the major Scandinavian design labels finds his inspiration in nature. He says that nature is the best graphic designer in the world.
This is clear in the pendant lamp Acorn, which has a lampshade consisting of three parts - a white silicone cap, an organically shaped, transparent glass lampshade and a delicate core with a brass colour. Acorn is ideal for cosily lighting up a dining table, for example, with a gently shimmering light, thus creating an atmospheric ambience.
Rudbeck designed this attractive pendant lamp for the Danish lighting manufacturer UMAGE, which has set itself the objective of producing lights which radiate the minimalist beauty and functionality of Scandinavian design and further develop this design style at the same time. The manufacturer pays attention to careful craftsmanship, taking environmental aspects into consideration.
