A lot of feathers - approx. 4,500 to be precise - were required for the production of the attractive lampshade of the floor lamp Eos large. The feathers are real and come from geese. They are soft and fluffy and make the lampshade appear soft and fluffy too. The floor lamp Eos large contributes to a cosy atmosphere in the room even when it is turned off. This is enhanced when the light is turned on and the surrounding area is lit up with a soft light.

The overall look is very natural and the lampshade is combined with the tripod floor stand to create a light source which is versatile in its use in a modern living area.

Please note: if the lampshade gets dirty (e.g. dust), the lampshade can easily be cleaned with a hair dryer.

The floor lamp Eos large was designed by Søren Ravn Christensen and does precisely what the lighting company UMAGE, of which he is the creative director and co-founder, would like to achieve: a further development of Scandinavian design, using careful craftsmanship and taking environmental concerns into consideration.
