The designer Søren Ravn Christensen clearly based his design of the hanging light Eos medium on nature in terms of the colours and materials. The approximately 1,800 goose feathers that are stuck onto the paper base of the lampshade are characterised by a soft light brown colour.

The colour of the feathers gives the light which is emitted by the light bulb an additional softness. The result is a lighting effect which stands out pleasantly in any room where Eos medium is used, as it creates a very cosy atmosphere. Eos medium is, for example, wonderfully suited for use as a light source over the dining table or as ambient lighting in the seating area of a living room.

If dust has settled on the feathers, this can quickly be removed with the help of a hair dryer.
