The shade consists of three metal rings, from which hang down the chains with shell discs individually connected by metal eyelets. the design of the Fun series of lamps, which also includes pendants, ceiling lamps and floor lamps, dates back to 1964 and was designed by Verner Panton (1926-1998). Many consider the Fun series to be the masterpiece of Panton, who was often inspired by organic forms in nature for his designs.
