Verner Pantons Spiral SP01 - Pendant lamp with sparkle effect
Countless spiral elements form the shade of the pendant luminaire Spiral SP01. The spirals, made of a special plastic (Cellidor) and covered with a shiny finish, are suspended with small metal eyelets on the four metal rings that form the frame of the lamp. Like a curtain, the spirals surround the lamp and create sparkling accents of light, which spread throughout the room, especially when a slight draught of air moves the spirals and they start to rotate around their own axis.
Verner Panton designed the Spiral series of lamps in 1969, when he was at the height of his creative powers. Today the lamp is one of the classics and has been in production again for several years. The Danish company VERPAN has taken up the work of the famous architect and designer and works together with Verner Panton's widow, Marianne Panton, ensuring that the ideas and designs are implemented in the spirit of her late husband.
The Panton lamps bear the engraving of his signature and are supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
